The Field Project Manager position is a hands-on job and will be responsible for self-performed work in support of our Senior Project Managers (SPM) in all aspects of the projects to which he/she is assigned. The successful candidate will have experience with hands-on work in residential service, be familiar with addressing punch lists, have a keen eye for quality, and follow directions from project management staff to deliver a superior finished product. This is an opportunity to learn and grow while providing critical support to a dynamic field team.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with internal services team as well as external sub-vendors to complete projects and punch lists on time.
Inspect and create initial bids for our clients.
Coordinate and schedule work directly with sub-vendors to complete open issues and set quality expectations to contractors of timelines and quality.
Frequently inspect projects to verify quality, work in progress and take photos of progress of the projects.
Oversee project schedules to ensure strict timelines are met and jobs are in sequence.
Perform quality control inspections and ensure all identified punch list items are completed either by the subcontractor or you as the working specialist.
Complete property inspections, deliver materials, close out project deficiency lists.
Communicate issues and problems that may delay projects.
Recruit and onboard various vendors in the market.
Able to complete some basic repairs as needed to reduce cycle times.
Ensure all workplace safety standards and practices are upheld.
You Should Have:
2+ years of experience in residential construction renovation.
Strong hands-on knowledge of the basic workings of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliance, landscaping, and irrigation systems.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail & high-performance standards.
Must be computer literate in Excel, Word, Windows and etc.
Strong communication skills (both oral & written).
Ability to work efficiently in a multi-task environment.
Proven record of working independently.
An effective team player.
Ability to work when work needs to be done.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to perform regular site visits.
