Regional Project Managers

Essential Duties

  • Oversee all construction operations in Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia.
  • Manage the Senior Project Manager/Project Managers of different states/markets and monitor project pipeline along with delivery schedule to coordinate efforts across functional groups.
  • Oversee budgets on each home and ensure that the homes are being completed to the highest quality. Review and approve, if necessary, change orders to ensure consistency of pricing and necessity of work for variances to initial job budgets.
  • Consult with the local market vendor partners to provide support and guidance regarding the interpretation of policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Senior Project Managers/Project Managers to resolve escalated issues.
  • Analyze metrics, identify operational trends and anticipate needs based on seasonality. Recommend and implement solutions that will improve performance.
  • Manage teams to ensure vendors’ complete assigned projects within APEX Homes MGT Inc. expected pricing, quality, and timeframes.
  • Train and coach direct reports in all facets of efficient construction operations to ensure budgets are consistent with the quality and pricing standards for the market. Monthly ride along to different markets for periodic QC and scope audits.
  • Assist with maintaining and improving cost control measures including the company’s standardized bid template, itemized unit pricing, and vendor agreements.
  • Collaborate with other Senior Project Managers/Project Managers to identify best practices of team management. Proactively use these practices to motivate the team and help them adjust to changes and support their development.
  • Onboard, develop and maintain necessary vendors needed to support construction and operations.
  • Utilize operational software and daily review of reports ensuring data integrity is maintained. Conduct periodic field and data audits to ensure projects are performed to standard.
  • Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to ensure there is functional quality of homes prior to resident move in.
  • Communicate important updates about projects, policies or procedures to corporate and teams. Provide follow-up to team members to ensure understanding and reinforcement of changes.
  • Stay abreast of emerging best practices, technologies and trends within the renovation industry.
  • Work with the top management to pilot and implement new initiatives in assigned region.
  • Monitor and support team by assisting in sourcing new talent that can add value to APEX Homes MGT Inc.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and own/lease reliable, work appropriate transportation.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Construction Management or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, sequencing and property management cycle.
  • Experience with preparing scopes of work, construction schedules and cost estimates.

Required Knowledge
